So what started out by BANDAI of japan as an April fools joke gained popularity and has now been turned into a mini pla series of kits, The first series comes in two releases a series of 4 individual NEKO'S with there respective BUSOU'S and a separate NEKO with a larger range of BUSOU'S.
But what are these things what do they do whats there purpose you ask well NEKO is Japanese for cat and BUSOU translates as weapons or armaments so effectively Cat Weapons and who does not love cats sporting canons and riding tanks. The first series as said has 4 separate cats A,B,C,D each one comes with a specific kit that can be combined with each other or can be used for upgrading other HG GUNPLA kits or for any mecha kit bashing ideas.
The initial release is split into 2 the single figure box's called NAMIMORI roughly translates to medium serving and a single figure called TENKOMORI roughly translated to large serving.
These are the NAMIMORI release each comes in there own box sporting a fetching picture of the Neko's in action with there weapons on the rear of the box you can see the possible configurations and combos you can achieve with them.
Now lets talk about the Neko's themselves as said each one comes with a military styled box or carrier that the weapons can attach to and form the hub, The kits can also be used to create alternate forms or combined for extra fun, the kit bashing potential is as limited as ones imagination.
Neko A: this is GREY and comes with the mecha launcher the fastest learner of weapons use and likes to prepare the food at gatherings and takes photos.
Neko B: this is SHIRO (white) and comes with the heli mecha to fly through the air. Gives the other cats massages.
Neko C: This is Chatora (orange tabby) and comes with the tank mecha kit.

Neko D:

Neko D: This is KURO (black) and comes with the jet mecha (but looks more like an industrial moving machine) Surprises people in the neighborhood with his new ways of using Busous and Is highly motivated.
Also as part as of the release comes TENKOMORI (Large serving) the Neko is called "Kutsushita" (Socks)
Socks comes with the same mecha's as in the NAMIMORI release but in green also there are additional parts exclusive to this figure, these are kit form and do require a bit modelling to assemble and can be painted or customized to suit. Will be building these up in the coming week or so with the help from my assistant TaylorTron and will post up results working with the kits and monstrous combinations we can come up with.
Until next time.
